You can’t have it both ways. If people are truly concerned about the mental well being of all those in this country—especially our youth—then we need to put more programs in place & respect the programs we already have.
Even with all that, the problem will still not be solved. We have a gun problem in this country. I’m not saying all the guns need to go—I’m not saying let’s take everyone’s gun away. I’m saying we need to make it harder for everyone to get a gun. If you have to jump through several hoops to get your driver’s license or women have to take several steps to get an abortion, everyone should have to work just as hard to get a gun. It’s simple & it makes sense.
Our children should not have to grow up preparing for a war zone in their classrooms.
