Hey! I’m Lissa & this is my blog. What you will find here is a lot of random thoughts, my day-to-day with the family & probably a lot of projects that I will–or would like to–start, but probably never finish!

I’m a stay-at-home mom, freelance proofreader, Etsy shop owner (on hiatus), wife, fur-mom, daughter, sister, aunt–I could keep going! Life is great one day, impossible the next & always crazy. There are things that I know & things that I don’t. I write what I’m thinking, feeling & things I truly have questions about. I have a BS in Mass Comm & Journalism–if you’re looking for proofreading services, let me know!

I’m a mom to a 9 year old boy–who just happens to be autistic & have ADHD. But that’s not what defines him or us–he’s a sweet, bright boy who can be whatever he wants to be. Right now, he spends his days building with Lego, coding & wants to be a video game designer. I’m a mom to a sassy 6 year old girl–she’s trying to run the house, but is just so cute, we kind of forgive it. She tells me she’s going to be the next Taylor Swift. I love watching her & her brother interact. My husband & I have been together for 16 years, married for 13–the kids haven’t broken us yet! We work together to get by & in the end, as long as we’re together, that’s all that matters.
